Our 2021 Frizzante is a refreshing, semi-sparkling red wine produced from 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc grown on our estate vineyards. A North Fork version of the famous Lambrusco wines of northern Italy, Frizzante is light and fizzy, with delicate violet and strawberry/rhubarb aromas along with flavors of sour cherries, orange peel, and pomegranate. The wine finishes dry with a subtle and savory earthy complexity. Fermented with wild North Fork yeasts and aged in neutral, French oak barrels for 12 months. Frizzante is the perfect accompaniment to your favorite charcuterie and cheese boards but pairs well with many different foods, from pizza and pasta to barbeque and cured meats. Perfect for summer entertaining. Serve chilled!
